Vice-Principal Robert S. K arc her Vocational Director Marold it Cjeary Our Director of the Gloucester Vocational School, Mr. Harold B. Geary, graduated from Fitchburg State College where he received his Bachelor of Science (Ed.) and Master of Edu- cation Degrees. Gloucester Vocational School, founded in 1940, trains boys as electricians, machinists, printers, auto mechanics, and carpenters. It prepares them for immediate work in their chosen field or equips them to go on for further learning. The school has been very successful under the fine direction of Mr. Geary. Our Vice-principal, Mr. Robert E. Karcher, has certainly done an out- standing job during his first year in that capacity. Of course, he is no stranger to us because he has been at Gloucester High School as gym teacher, science teacher, and assistant football coach during the past five years. Mr. Karcher received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Education Degrees from Boston University.
