Foreword Time and tide wait for no man. Early in Sep¬ tember we started the school year. Soon after, we were once again in full swing with the many activities at Gloucester High. So many things to do -- classes, -- and still more classes!! Suddenly we seemed caught in a fierce storm, tossed and blown about by winds so strong that at times we were afraid we were lost. Now the wind has ceased and we are at the end of another year. The seniors solemnly march to GOD OF OUR FATHERS for the last time and the underclassmen quickly fill the seats left to them. As we look back over the year, it is quite impossible to recall all the things we did, all the hours of fun and work, or the security we felt with understanding, con¬ genial friends. The Cavalier Staff has tried to capture by word and picture the life lived at G.H.S. It is the sincere wish of the Staff that this -- The Cavalier of 1965 -- will bring a smile, a chuckle, or maybe even a tear in reliving the events of this past year. When we grow too old to dream we ' ll have you, ” G.H.S., and all the memories you hold within your walls, to remember!!! 3
