ROBERT I. WHILLESON 311 Sherman St. Industrial Arts Bob Bob is a quiet and agreeable member of our class. Rex, his dog, has for four years been his constant shadow in both hall and classroom. We are sure that by now both Bob and Rex are ready for graduation. Best of luck in the future, Bob. Hobby: Driving. Goal: To own a new car. Favorite Saying: What do you mean? Pet Peeve: Getting up in the morning. Activities: Yearbook; Photography; Cooking. RALPH ALBERT WILLIAMS 321 Bergen St., Brooklawn Science and Engineering Tex Tex' is noted for his baseball ability and his love for sports. Al- though generally quiet, he is a real pal to everyone. His friendly ways have won him many friends. Hobby: Sports. Goal: To remember a good joke. Favorite Saying: Let’s go over to the bakery, Matt. Pet Peeve: The girls in German class. Activities: Baseball 1.2.3.4; Basketball 4. Student Council 2; Junior Dance Committee. Sophomore Dance Com- mittee; Junior Proir Committee. DORIS ELAINE WILSON 506 S. Broadway College Entrance in Arts Dor Dor can generally be found in the art rooms. She is quiet but very friendly. She has a persuasive look. Could be she’s daydreaming, or per- haps her thoughts are just romancing. Hobby: Art and Music. Goal: To be a nurse. Favorite Saying: Good Land! Pet Peeve: Stiff, dirty paintbrushes in the Art room. Activities: Glee Club 1.2.3.4; Art Club 2,3,4; Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior Dance Committees; Yearbook Committee; Junior Prom Committee. CHARLES WILLIAM WOOMER 342 Bergen St. College Entrance in Arts Chal Chal” is slight of build; conse- quently he is tossed around the most in gym classes. He’s good-natured and sincere and always ready with a laugh. He is one of the few fel- lows who really likes to learn. Hobby: Sax. Goal: To go to college. Favorite Saying: Anybody got a comb? Pet Peeve: Big deals. ROBERT C. YEARWOOD 927 Gaunt St. Industry and Arts Hot Rod Bob is known to all of us as an earnest and hardworking fellow. No matter what your problem, Bob' will help you out. Bob’ has strong Southern ties; however we have heard no slow So'th'n drawl. But we have seen much of his mighty fine So’th'n hospitality. Hobby: Driving. Goal: To get out of school. Favorite Saying: Got any money for me? Pet Peeve Getting up in the morning. Activities: Newspaper 4; Collecting Teacher s Union Dues 2; Senior Play; Projection Club 1. 24

EUGENE V. VOGEL 227 S. Broadway Industrial Arts Gene' Although Gene joined us in our junior year, he didn't have any trouble making friends. This can easily be seen by his being chosen ‘class Romeo. His ability at the piano will remain long in our memories. Hobby: Piano. Goal: Being able to stay in bed late during the week. Favorite Saying: I'm tired. Pet Peeve: Hearing the bell ring to go to P.A.D. when taking a shower. Activities: Glee Club 3,4; Junior Play; Senior Play; Student Council 3,4; President of Student Council 4; Dance Committees 3,4; Prom Com- mittee. WILLIAM E. WALTON 303 New Jersey Rd., Brooklawn General Academic Izzak Bill earned himself the title of thfe noisiest boy in the class, and his only rival in this field is his best friend, “Toke. When he was finally made to settle down, “Bill showed that he has quite a talent in the art room. His likeable person and teas- ing ways will be remembered by both‘classmates and teachers. Hobby: Getting into trouble with “Toke. Goal: To get a new Harley. Favorite Saying : “Not me I “It must have been somebody else. Pet Peeve: Trying to beat the late bell to P.A.D. after gym. Activities: Junior Play; Football 1,2, 3,4; Basketball 2; Dance Committee 2,3,4; Letter Club 3,4; Band 2,3,4. JEAN ANN WATKINS 75 Baynes Ave. Commercial Jean Jean's pleasing personality and willingness to cooperate have made her a popular member of our class. As a valuable member of the hockey team, she has demonstrated her ath- letic ability. Her performance as class secretary foretells a brilliant future for her in her chosen field. Hobby: Dancing, eating. Goal: To be an efficient secretary. Favorite Saying: “You're a killer. Pet Peeve: Speeches in English. Activities: Hockey 1,2,3, Co-captain 4; Student Council. 4; Dance Com- mittees; Junior Play. J. RICHARD WEICHMAN 14 Third St., Brooklawn Science and Engineering Dick Wherever you find a crowd, you will find “Dick the center of attrac- tion. His unaffected ways have made him a favorite in the class for years. We know his ability to get along with people will be invaluable to him in life. Hobby: Photography. Goal: To get a car. Favorite Saying: She's my girl. Pet Peeve: Getting up for school. Activities: Junior Play; Senior Play; Sophomore Treasurer; Junior Vice- President; Student Council 3,4; News- paper Staff 4, Junior Prom Commit- tee; Junior Dance Committee; Sophomore Dance Committee. CECILIA WEIGAND 403 Crescent Blvd., Brooklawn College Entrance in Arts Cel “Cel's laughter and pleasant- ness have won he many friends. We know she can rustle up an ap- petizing steak faster than it takes to say it. Her thoroughness is one of her most laudatory assets. Teachers and classmates alike will remember her as one of the most dependable mem- bers of the class. Hobby: Collecting souvenirs. Goal: To enter West Jersey Hospital. Favorite Saying: “Gees-O-Manl Pet Peeve: Everything. Activities: Junior and Senior Play Committees; Glee Club 1,2,3,4; Dance Committees 1,2,3,4; 12C Finances; Junior Prom Committee. RUTH ANNA WEISMAN 221 S. Third St. College Entrance in Arts Ruthie “Ruthie has proved a cheerful, friendly classmate. Although quieter than most of us, she enjoys helping with class activities. We know that she will succeed in everything she undertakes. Hobby: Collecting post cards. Goal: To become a nurse. Favorite Saying: “Oh sugar! Pet Peeve: Climbing the stairs of G.H.S.
