THE BOARD OF EDUCATION These representatives of the citizens of Gloucester are pledqed to give the students every educa- tional Opportunity possible. They have shown themselves alive to their obligations and have mad£ every effort to supply our needs. May they carry on with credit to us and themselves. DR. MARVIN E. PORCH, our superintendent of schools, con- tinues to lend his steadying In- fluence to the management of the school system. He organizes well and has a pleasant word for all. WENDELL SOOY, our principal for twelve years, continually looks after the needs of the students and tries to be helpful to as many individuals as possi- ble. He takes an active interest in plan- ning their schedules, their school activi- ties. and in giving every opportunity for the pupils to improve themselves in school.
