Martelli’s birthday cards. Each student is called down to the office on his or her birthday to receive a card, small gift, and personal birth- day greetings from their principal. Sometimes Father Martelli falls be- hind but he never forgets. He even remembers the teachers and staff on their special days. Everyone can look forward to at least one trip to the principal’s office each year. JO 30
