RT. REV. MSGR. EDWARD B. LUCITT Just as any group needs and responds to the authority of a leader, so we, the student body of Gloucester Catholic High School, look to our principal, Sister Mary Carmel. Indeed we are indebted to her for the guidance she has offered us. Through her efforts, the students have be- come a unified body, striving cooperatively for satisfactory spiritual and educational goals. Her ever-present sense of humor combined with a genuine interest in the welfare of the students and of our school commands our heartfelt admiration and appreciation. May Christ the King ever reign in her heart! . . . so loyal as love . . Ever since Msgr. Lucitt took over as pastor of St. Mary’s and administrator of Gloucester Catholic High School, he has worked untiringly for the benefit of the stu- dents at his high school. He has instilled in us a new spirit and drive to make us better fulfill our potentialities. His deep interest in the needs of every student at Gloucester Catholic has given him more than the usual relationship with his students. In our minds, Monsignor will always stand out as a leader of leaders, a priest among men, and especially a friend of friends. Monsignor, we the Class of 1964, salute you! SISTER MARY CARMEL, O.P. Principal 8

We are fortunate in having such a capable priest as Msgr. McGarry to guide the vast complex of the Camden Diocese school system. In today’s world, where more and greater emphasis is being placed upon the training of responsible young Catholic laymen. Monsignor has cer- tainly taken the lead in fostering this end. We at Glou- cester Catholic can be justly proud and appreciative of the work he has accomplished. We pray to Christ the King, the patron of the Diocesan Educational Fund and of the 1964 annual, that Msgr. McGarry will continue ably to press the educational needs of the Camden Diocese. REV. WILLIAM G. MARK Secretary to the Superintendent of Schools RT. REV. MSGR. CHARLES P. McGARRY Diocesan Superintendent of Schools
