sf Dovid Goy Receives Holcomb Aword Three years ago an interested individual donated to the Sunday School Board enough money with which to give a continuing scholarship to an outstanding summer staffer both at Ridgecrest and Glorieta. The award was named the HoIcomb Scholarship in memory of T. L. Holcomb. also for whom the large Glorieta auditorium is named. Each year the award is presented at the last staff banquet to the student who best exemplifies what a Glorieta staffer should be as he or she serves the guests throughout the summer. This summer the staffer chosen to receive this scholarship is David Gay. David will use the award for tuition at Oklahoma Baptist University where he plans at present to major in music.
