'i .- hh., From the Editor Bright New Wings , a musical by Cynthia and Ragan Courtney, was written especially for the Winter Youth Celebration. The concept expressed is that of the caterpillar as he seeks to break forth from the darkness of his cocoon into the light as a beautiful, free creature. Likewise our Christian growth is one of gradual change, brought about by experiences which affect our personalities and lives. Thus we have sought as summer staffers to bear our theme, Bright New Wings, as we have served the guests, in our play, in worship, and during quiet times alone or with friends. Our purpose here then, is to recapture the memories of the times spent in spreading our wings. 5
