HERRON are originally from New Mexico It was not until Dr. Herron was 33 years old that he felt God wanted his vocation to be full- time church-related. After training he went to Alabama as state secretary of the Sunday School work. I-Ie remained in this position until 1954 when he was asked to become manager of the newly-founded Glorieta Baptist Assemble. For ten years now his guidance, his spirit, his interest have led the assembly in its phenomenal development. Words of advice from the heart of this man of God have long been treasured by all Glorieta staffers. God's Blessings on You You are a choice group of young people and adults. We thank you again for your gracious spirit and for all you have done in making the assembly a blessing to our guests . Our love, interest and prayers go with you. MR. FRANK GARDNER, affec- tionally called Pop by the staff, directs the department of mainte- nance at Glorieta. Although Mr. d Mrs Gardner and their dog are an . from Tennessee, they have lived various places due to Pop's career in the army. After retirement the Gardners came to Glorieta to be- come part of the year-round staff at the assembly. PERMANENT STAFF MR. AND MRS. OTIS GOODNER, act as caretakers for the assembly grounds. They live just inside the gate in a lovely home. Mrs. Goodner arranges flowers and works in the greenhouse to add much to the beauty of Glorieta by using plants of many kinds. The Goodners have been part of the Glorieta staff since june 1950. MR. DOYLE MORRIS, the office manager at Glorieta, is a native of the state of Oklahoma. Before coming to Glorieta four years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Morris, Michelle and Kevin, made their home in Artesia, New Mexico. From a background of various jobs Mr. Morris became a part of Glorieta's permanent staff and finds unique satisfaction in his work as he feels he is within the will of God for his life. ,Af new af Q E 5211? iiilw ww , 4' if 'T argue!
