JUNIOR HISTORY As freshmen we were quite a class. As green as blue-grass grows; We triumphed over every task, Just how, nobody knows. First the football game we won. The sophs we took by chance; Then with contest jobs well-done, We staged the freshmen dance. In our sophomore year we pulled the slack. Our class was really dandy; Our treasury held a stack of jack. That came in very handy. As penalty for loss of our football meet, A pompous dance we held. And in spite of the thought of admitted defeat. In contests we still excelled. Our Junior year has been a prosperous one, A successful class have we; As sure are we of the rising sun. As what next year ' s class will be. Quite successful was our play; Our prom was really snazzy; And I, as anyone else, will say. Our patio was jazzy. To our sponsors we owe a vote of thanks. To our officers we owe the same; For they stayed with us through the blood of the ranks, They gained for us our name.
