Sophomores . . . Brad Allen practices for the Candy Cane Eating Contest to be held later in the year. This photograph caught Brad leaving for Christmas break. Sophomores do it with style as evidenced by these pictures. Not yet upperclassmen, sophomores start to assume some independence and personality. Harlene Meister, Michelle Letterly, and Lisa Terry were the hit of the Halloween Party. The class officers (left to right) Joel Sternstein, president; Evy Krueger, secretary; Joe Conlon, VP; and Grant Nellessen, treasurer. Renee Root practices making letters with a pencil stuck between her toes. This was an exercise to sympathize with Christy Brown, an author who could not use her arms.
