Cutright, head of the Commercial Department. The purpose of this club is to bring the commercial student in contact with the business world. Interest in the club was maintained by alternating the business meetings with some of a social nature. The type of work done by members of this club can well be ascertained from the showing made in the Southeastern District Typing and Shorthand Contest. Jane Hanimes took first honors in the Novice Typing class. For the first time in the history of our school has our own orchestra furnished the music at commencement exercises. ln the Music contest, held hy .Xnderson Bros., in Portsmouth they playcd their way into second place.
