SENIORS TAKE A BREAK AND READ THE SCHOOL NEWSPAPER, THE SPOTLIGHT. HOME ECONOMICS CLASS SURPRISES MISS FRANKLIN ON HER LAST DAY OF STUDENT TEACHING. THROUGH SCHOOL ACTIVITIES STUDENTS GROW SOCIALLY. One of our main objectives in life is the mastery of regulating work with play. We must learn not only to enjoy our lives in leisure moments, but also to balance them with the proper blend of social activ- ity. At Glenwood High School, we learn to adjust to various situations and develop- ments. We have the opportunity to mingle and get along harmoniously with all types of people. PHYSICALLY Realizing that physical growth is im- portant in the total educational program for each student, Glenwood High School strives to teach the care and proper development of the body. Through organized team sports and individual competition, we realize the importance not only of maturing in physical skills, but also of acquiring self-discipline.
