GERMAN CLUB The German Club Was organized this year to stimulate the interest of the lan- guage and create a greater understanding of the Germanic people and their culture. Its meetings consist of language tapes or German films. Correspondence is carried on throughout the year. TUDE T WRITERS OFFICERS-Seaieds Marilyn Stains, Presidenlg Mary L. Morgan, Chair- man of the Board. Standing: John Dougherty, Treasurerg Mr. Walker, Advisory Nancy Mossbarger, Vice-President. OFFICERS-Seated: Mike Zetz, Presidentg Karen Kothmayer, Sec- rezaryg Kay Laughlin, Treasurer. Standing: Mr. Brogden, Advisory Mike Geis, Vice-President. The Student Writers Organization at- tempts to stimulate the interest of writ- ing and its many fields. The members are encouraged to submit manuscripts to the Board which, in turn, gives advice and recommendation as to which magazine it is best suited. A short story contest was included in the program.
