The NFL is an honorary speech society whose purpose is the promotion and recogni- tion ol' excellence in debate, oratory, and pub- lic speaking. To be eligible for membership in this organization, students must be in the up- per two-thirds of their class and Illtlst have earned twenty-hve points in interscholastic contests. Having approximately thirty mem- bers, the Glenwood chapter ranks sixth among the twenty chapters in the Eastern Ohio dis- triet. Debate, extetnporaneous speaking, original oratory, oratorical declamation, and dra- matic and humorous declamation are the events in- cluded in these contests.
