FUTURE NURSES - CLUB The Future Nurses Club acquaints students interested in nursing with the requirements and opportunities of this profession. The members gain valuable experience by working as candy stripers at the local hospitals. During the year field trips were taken to the Massillon City Hospital and Nursing Home, the Bowman Drug Company, and a biology class at Malone College. The purpose of this club is to learn about the advantages and disadvantages of the teaching profession, learn the requirements of a good teacher, acquire experi- ence in teaching, and foster the development ol stu- dent leadership. Special projects included the writ- ing of a constitution and an induction ceremony to install members in the organization.
