'l The Glenvar chapter of DECA had many interesting activities for its members. Some of those activities were such things as a Parliamentary Procedure seminar held at Glenvar, bowling event against Lewis in Ian- uary, Fall Rally, and trips to places such as Kings Dominion. DECA also 188 DECA 2 had members competing in district, state, regional contests, and sent del- egates to the National DECA conven- tion in California. The Glenvar and Lewis DECA's made plans for a store at the new Salem High School. The club sponsored by Mr. Willis and Mr. Whittacker. Fund Raising Projects A Success

Science Club Extends Skills The Science Club enables students to extend their interest, understand- ing, and knowledge in many areas of science. Since the fall of 1964 as the first student organization at Glenvar High, club members have received numerous county, state and national science awards and honors. The Glenvar Science Club is the only one in our school system to be chapter af- filiates with both the Virginia junior Academy of Science and the Future Scientists of America.
