e S- .J F1 f X 3 The French Club was open to those students who were taking French or had previously taken at least one year of French. They had twenty- seven members this year. This was the second year of an organized French Club and they met during ac- tivity schedule A where they planned several activities. They had a bean jar contest and they decorated the bulletin board across from the lib- rary. 1. The F.C. . Helps the Community The Fellowship of Christian Athletes, one of G1envar's largest clubs, had over sixty members this year. The F.C.A. was a very active club and provided services to the community such as visiting area hospitals and giving food baskets to needy families. They also met with other high school huddles for monthly breakfasts. The F.C.A. was in charge of the Baccalaureate service and the organization was credited with starting the first service at Glenvar High School. The F.C.A. had fun by going on ski trips and to Virginia Tech football games. 1. Mr. Ward tells Mr. Killinger about the F.C,A.'s project plans. 2.
