17,1 if V . 5 This year, unlike many, the Pep Club only had thirty members. All were very busy. They made posters, sold tickets, and cleaned up the stadium after home football games. For the second time awards were presented to the most active mem- bers. A member received points for every activity she participated in. The highest was presented as out- standing member. Second highest received a Glenvar Pep Club Patch. Third received a pin with their year of graduation and the rest were given certificates of membership. With the money left over the club bought a gift for the school. With the help of Miss Hall they made it a booming last year. 1. Officers: Teresa Martin, vice-President, Barbara Crable, secretary, Debbie Evans, trea- surer, Donna Ratliff, president. 2. Teresa Martin and Barbara Crable display a pep club poster. 3. Keyettes Have Successful Year 13 The Keyette Club was one of the newest clubs at Glenvar, yet it was one of the most active. The Keyette Club was founded in the summer. It had a total of thirty-eight members. The Keyette motto was 'We Serve' and every Keyette tried to live up to this motto. Every month the Keyettes had a service project. This project in some way bettered our community. They also had many money making projects, such as, selling hats and spirit buttons. The Keyettes worked in cooperation with the Ki Wives of Salem. 1.
