Girls Get Enough Exercise .4450 'N wa'-f-L fs.: ' ' ' 'ii- 1' N' z tl fi' wr 'xrif , . ff 'f- 514. The Girls' Physical Education and Health classes were instructed by Miss Hall and Miss Hoffman. Miss Hoffman returned to Glenvar this year after a year's leave of absence to complete her Masters degree in Physical Education. The Freshman strained to get through another year of physical ed- ucation tests with Miss Hoffman be- hind them while the sophomores cheered for their last year of them. A variety of sports were played by both classes such as hockey, fencing, ar- chery, tennis and basketball. Every girl in the classes completed the year with a better skill and knowledge of physical education. 148 Girls' P.E. ,UU 4 1 I 5,

Math Lab Has Better tmosphere The Math Department underwent some major changes this year. There was a certified teacher in the math lab each period to help the students. There was also a para-professional to help the teachers. Things really went smoother this year when students found that they could Work in an at- mosphere which was less hectic than last year. The math lab received a new addition this year called Digital Equipment. It was a computer which no other school in the county had. 1. Mike Iohnson shows his skill with Classmate ll. 2.
