Co-Ed olleyball 1 2 This year's volleyball team began with a change as two boys became members of Glenvar's first co-ed vol- leyball team. Their coach, Beth Hall, thought they worked well with the girls and that the girls adapted very well. This was also Glenvar's most experienced team for they worked stronger on serving and controlling volley play. The team spent much of its time on game strategy and net play but was hampered by a lack of practice time. In spite of the hand- icap, Coach Hall anticipated making this year's district games and had several promising first string players. Several good runners were de- veloped as volleyballs had to be chased in between the Gymnasts who also had use of the gym. All in all, the volleyball team had a success- ful year with a good squad. 1. Is it going to come down? 2. Net play by co-captains, Ralph Crable and Sherry Thomas. 3. Front Row: Marlys Ness, Lisa Walowac, Sherry Thomas, Ralph Crable, Sheila Wirt, Denise Nixon. Second Row: Lisa Sloan, Doris Iohnson, Karen Hall, Cindy Dooley, Iohneta Coon.
