GOOD-13118 P11327 AND JVN8 Bernard La May Anne La May The Glens Falls Indians have always and always will have a winning tradition in sports. Just take a stroll by the school's trophy case, and you can see that the Indians have always been in the thick of glory whether in tennis, swimming, wrestling or foot- ball. Through these years there have been many out- standing figures. One of them is Putt. Putt graduated from Ithaca college and received his Master of Science degree from the State University at Albany. Then began his teaching career in 1943. In l952 Putt began his service as teacher, coach, di- rector of physical education, and friend at Glens Falls High. But Putt's heart and soul wasn't only in his career. In 1941 Anne Hogle and Bernard fPuttJ Lamay were married. Putt has devoted so much time and energy into Glens Falls High. We are forever grateful for his efforts. Form- ing Grandstanders, sponsor of Varsity G, member of Rotary, serving 2 years as Vice Presi- dent of the New York Athletics Association, Inc. in 1976, and President of the Northway Zone of Physical Education Teachers, these are just titles and posi- tions. There is no title or pos- session that can show the thanks everyone in this school has for our Putt. Anne will also be missed very much, as she diligently performed her duties as library aide, and the tedious work in- volved with manipulating AV equipment. She was also a val- uable assistant to Putt in his Y duties at sports ftmctions. You could not ask for a more avid fan than Anne! df?
