Hmruawi Qorcufmi When we reach the end of our high school years, we have reached a summit which affords us a better view of the world. Attaining this summit has been, by no means, an easy task. During our three years climb, we have met many challenges which at first appeared insurmountable, yet we have always found ways to conquer these challenges. The results of these efforts have made our high school years truly worthwhile. From our present peak, we find that we may observe the world from a higher vantage point and that our horizons of life have been vastly widened. Unlike the pleasures of the expansive views which vacationers enioy observing from mountain tops, the practical values of the horizons we have widened during high school will 'remain with us throughout our lives. This does not mean, however, that in the future we will not meet greater challenges or will not be able to widen our horizons ever further. There will always be more challenging and higher peak in life for us to meet and conquer, and our high school education has truly prepared us for this. In putting together this yearbook, we have endeavored to show the many challenges we met as we went about widening our horizons through social activities, through athletics, through school organizations, and most important of all, through learning. Each day of high school opened countless valuable experiences which havexgreatly enriched our lives. In later years, as we look through the pages of this book, we will be truly grateful, often for the first time, for these many opportunities to widen our horizons. l 4 l L- .. s .zz A-.
