DECA activities are centered around civic, social, competitive, and lead- ership development. One civic activity was to collect comic books, dress up like clowns, and distribute the comics to kids in Aultman. Timken Marcy. and Doctors Hospital. Another civic activity of DECA this year was conducting an anti-shoplifting program at Taft Middle School. The program centered around teenage shoplifting and the consequences. In February and March the group participated in District Marketing con- tests as well as state contests in Columbus. K LGU INTO YOUR FUTUR Officers — Dave Zastawny — President.
