National Forensics League is an organization which offers students the opportunity to excercise their speaking ability at weekly tourna- ments. Members compete in Debate or one of the individual events. Included in the individual events are Extemporaneous. Original, Orat- ory, Prose and Poetry. Dramatic Interpretation. Humorous Interpreta- tion. Oratorical Declamation. Duet Acting, and Student Congress. Members have travelled throughout Ohio and the nation to attend tournaments and workshops. Team members discover the excite- ment of competitive speech and develop valuable skills as well. A IM.F.L k Le Cercle francais essaye di'ettidier la culture francaise dans les moyens divers : le£ ev nements culturels representes dans la re- gion comme les pieces et les films. Aussi les membres apprennent les danses folkloriques et les chansons francaises. Chaques annee il y a le diner International avec les autres clubs et le diner progres- sif ou on goute la haute cuisine francaise! Pendant la saison de Noel, on chante, au-dehors des maisons des membres. On joue aux jeux differents b la soiree de Monte Carlo. Avec tous ces ev6ne- ments on apprend plus au sujet des francais et de la France. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show! The efforts of the GlenOak Drama Club personnel, both on stage and back stage, assure the audience of a production to rival Broadways best! The GlenOak Drama Club enjoyed an enriched program this year, emphasizing appreciation of good theatre. During the year we produced two highly successful plays and an evening of experimental theater. We take various field trips to local institutions which deal with the math and science world. We also hear different speakers concerning ideas of mathematics and science.
