The GlenOak Student Council is the official elected governing body of GlenOak High School. The 1978-79 council is a total organization, em- phasizing involvement in all phases of student life. Eagle's View, the school newspaper, is produced twice a month by the forty-eight members of News Staff. The newspa- per. one of the larger and more ambitious undertakings among area school publications, has been recognized regionally as a high-quality paper. The writing, editing, page layouts, typeset- ting. paste-up, art and photography are all done by staff mem- bers. who meet daily in a laboratory type class. Staffers also devote many hours outside of class in order to meet their dead- lines.
