I 252 LEUU GlenOak Senior Drafting Cluh was formed for the purpose of promoting the technical drawing skillsg and open to anyone interested in drafting. The club promotes field trips to various industries and invites guest speakers to discuss various areas of the Drafting field. The club promotes and sponsors an annual Model Home Contest open to any member. Various outside activities, such as skating parties, are also a very active part of the club. The Guild has meetings once a week to discuss man's creativity and how it relates to art. There is an additional meeting each week which provides studio time for members to work on projects. The members sell things that are made in order to fulfill art needs. Some of these needs are field trips to art galleries and museums. The club does art re- lated work for the school if possible, such asp murals, holiday decorations, etc. The Art Guild's goal is to allow students to do art for themselves and to be exposed to fellow artists. For Christmas we collected food for a family less fortunate than ourselves. For money making projects we held a garage sale, Worked on in- ventory at O'Neils and sold Easter Candy. On DECA competition this year, DECA placed second in the district with eight winners. Each of these winners participated in State Compe- tition in March.
