Ohio Office Education Association consists of 9 clubs: COE, STENO I, STENO II, ACCOUNT- ING I, ACCOUNTING II, CLERK-TYPIST I, CLERK-TYPIST II, CLERICAL I, CLERICAL II. The main purpose of OOEA is not only to assist the students in es- tablishing their realistic employment objectives, but also, to develope leadership and ability by participating in Vocational Education. The following describes the personal characteristics of each of our clubs at GlenOak. Throughout the year each club has their own individual ac- tivities in which almost everyone in the classes participates. During the year our club has srgvice projects and money raising projects for their class and club use and experience. In our business classes our teachers find companies who are willing to show us around their company. Some classes were fortunate enough to take many field trips this year. Our busi- ness teachers and school advisors also find jobs for the students who are qualified for them and almost everyone at the end of their senior year who wants a job, has one. In February and March of this year, the state of Ohio holds business contests for students to compete against one another from different counties, regions, and states. There are usually five to six students sent out of each class to participate. W 'x ,. 2 j Wi ' 1.1 4 fi r COE--C. Bradley, Parlim., M. Stephan, Sec., J. Klingaman, Treas., D. Cushman, I-list, K.
