T.A. in which P.T.A. members and other guests viewed a style show by the Home Economics Depart- ment, exhibitions and demonstrations by the Industrial Arts Department and the Art Department, a dramatic reading by Jim Walker of the Speech Department, and performances by the Music Depart- ment. These Indiana State Teacher ' s College students did theirpractice teaching at Glenn this year. The second platoon included Mr. Butts, commerce, Mr. Lowe, social studies, and Mr. Conner, social studies .... and in the first platoon were Mr. Daniel, social studies, and Mrs.Elkins, English and social studies. Not Pic- tured are Mr. Thomas, speech and social studies, and Mrs. Ruth Stacey.

These 4- H ' er s achieved merit in judging. Becky Kindred and Sherrie Simonson won local, took first and second place in the district, and entered the state contest. Janet Lemmon won local and got second place in the district contest. Cheryl Fry won third in the local contest. Congratu- lations, girls ! Two apt 4-H ' ers were rewarded for their out- standing work, and Janet was an alternate representative to the State Fair. Above, Margaret Ferrari, champion cake baker.
