After completing the Sophomore year we became Jolly Juniors. That year we lost two students and gained only one new one. Our class officers were: President, Rose Marie Kar- binos, Vice President, Gene Foxworthy, Secretary, Rosemary Ellis, and Treasurer, Samuel Sterchi, We presented the very successful class play entitled The Dust of the Earth. A brilliant reception was given by our class in honor of the Seniors during Senior Week at the Mayflower Room in the Terre Haute House. This was considered the high water mark of our class activities up to that time. Our sponsors were Miss Felling and Mr. Willis. We were extremely successful in the sales that are extended to the Junior class each year to raise money for the reception and other expenses. At last here we are Dignified Seniors! The losing of eight members this year has de- creased our number to forty-five. Cupid appeared with his fatal, bow and arrows and conse- quently, matrimony played havoc with our enrollment. Our class officers are: Gene Foxworthy, President, Betty Orendorff, Vice President, Harlan Rockwood, Secretary, and Mabel Wood, Treasurer. Our sponsors are Miss Felling and Mr. Coltharp. We are to present our annual class play which is entitled Hollywood Bound. Our responsibilities this year are pleasant because we have come to realize that our school days together are drawing to a close. We leave Glenn High School, our fellow students, and teachers with deepest regret, but we will as always look back to these past four years with pleasant thoughts, for we are just beginning to realize that our four years of high school are probably going to stand as the happiest years of our lives.
