We had the largest class entering the high school up to that time. We entered full of anticipation, but we were rather dazed. But now as Seniors we can look back and realize how crystal-clear those four years have been. ' Our members came from several different schools. From the Seelyville Grade School came seventeen pupils, and from the Glenn grades together with the Glenn Home enrollment, thirty-nine members appeared. Three students drifted in from Riley and five from District No. 3. One student came from the McClellan School in Chicago. For our class officers we elected Harlan Rockwood for President, Rosemary Ellis for Vice President, Evelyn Jones for Secretary, and Mabel Wood for Treasurer. Our sponsors were Miss Bailey and Mr. McPherson. Returning for our Sophomore year, we found we had lost six students and had gained two new ones. Our class officers that year were: Rosemary Ellis for Secretary, and Betty Oren- dorff for Treasurer. We were the first Sophomore class to give a class play for the public. The titles of our two one-act plays were Henry's Mail Order Wife, and Kidnapping Betty. Our sponsors were Mr. Jeffers and Mr. Mason. This effort proved a great success and we were able to assist the school financially from the proceeds.
