Text from Pages 1 - 152 of the 1972 volume:

Glenn High School Birmingham, Alabama “To everything there is a Season and a Time to every purpose under the heaven: Jm'. 3 A TIME TO GATHER . . . A TIME TO LAUGH . . . 4 A TIME TO . . . A TIME TO LOSE . . . A TIME TO SPEAK . . . A TIME TO KEEP SILENT. . . 6 4I I) A TIME OF PEACE”. Kccicsiastcs 3 FORWARD Time is very essential to man. It permits Sybils, numerologists, and astrologists to gaze into the future, uf often leaves no written account of memorable deeds. These occurrences, whether fortunate or unfortunate, eventually become memories. Man could never hope for a mechanism to preserve his dreams except through inovation. As a means of preserving memories, the members of the Annual Staff of 1972 present this edition of an old mechanism. We call our mechanism IMAGES. In the future its pages may recall to mind the antagonism of op-posing teams, the anticipation of a game not yet won; the electrifying beauty of a refined queen or simply the pleasant memory of bygone days. We wish to share with you and the world a seasonal excursion in ISineteen- Hundred and Seventy-Two. Images 8 ALMA MATER All hail to dear old Glenn. Our Alma Mater, true.
