They sang Hwere You There?U by Bunleigh end UGreen Csthedraln by Home L T ' ' Those in the boys' glee club were: First tenors-Joseph Callen, Harley Heekenson, Earl. Espelend, and Leroy Steigeq second tenors-Robert S100um,-ADQPGW Rorgo, and Walter Haef- nerg first basses-Russell Henstrom, John McCallum, Albert Heefner, and Alvin Schlomerg and second basses - Harold Frankie, Alfred Sannes, Ervin Bohlender, and Eddie Lehnert. SMALL MUSICAL GROUPS w Members of the girls' trio were: first soprano, Elsie Lisenmeng second soprano, Minnie Eisenmang and slto,Elme Wessel. At the district music contest held in Mobridge, the girls' trio was given the rating of excellent. The selec - tions they sang were: NSleepy Hollow Tuneu by Kountz and UA Brown Bird Singingn by Wood. E In the mixed quartet were: soprano, Elsie Eisenman: slto, Elms Wesselg tenor,Harley Hsskensong end bass, Robert Slocum. As their contest selections, the mixed quartet seng ' Land of Homen by Sibelius. UMorningH by Speaks, and UDear They received e rating of good. The scene is laid in the humble home of Katrina CDonna Molstadl and her brother Hans CMarion Callenl. It is St. Nicholas Eve and cousins from America as well as St. Nicholas are expected. While Mother QDelores Salzsiedlerh and Father CLloy d Beckmanb are away and Hans is delivering milk, Katrina sits by the fire dreaming. In her dreams she is visited by rep- resentatives from England, America, Spain, Russia, Eskimo Land, Italy, Scotland, Scandinavia, Japan, and Mother Goose Land. Last of all she was visited by the Spirit of Christ- mc?tSo, ' Katrina was awakened by Hans and the arrival of her parents and cousins. r - Santa Claus and St. Nicholas with his Black Man came laden with Christmas Goodies. l Minnie Eisenman mrs accompanist for the grade operetta All the grade pupils took part in it. rs rg 1 1730
