A 'pp s ' Miss Zoss continued' as class adviser and the class officers, were: Blanche Larson, president, Dick Salverson, vice presidentg and Alpha Anderson, secretary-treasurer. The sophomores initiated the freshmen ln October, and at the close of the year gave a farewell fparty for the seniors. Russell Hanstrom was again sub for the first team and Blanche Larson and Ellen Espeland took parts in the senior class play, 'F1ngerpr1nts.U Q When school started lAugust 51, 1956, Dick Salverson did not return. Wilton Slocum became a student here after two years at the School of Agriculture- and Minnie Eisenman came back after an year at the Plainview Academy in Red- field. ' ' Miss Culp was chosen class adviser and class officers were chosen as follows: Blanche Larson, presidentg Russell Hanstrom, vice presidentg and Eddie Q Lehnert, secretary- treasurer. A Russell Hanstrom was one of the regulars on the basket ball team and .Elmer Schlomer played on the second' team. Blanche Larson and Alpha Anderson played on the girls! Hrst team. Wiltonl Slocum was elected editor ofg the WEagle's Viewn and also of the nEagle.W ' The Juniors successfully presented the play UThe Whole Town's Laughingu on February 9, and on April 24 sponsored the school carnival. The juniors entertained the seniors and faculty at the Junior-senior banquet, The final race for the: seniors began August SQ, 1957, with Raymond Hafner and Wilton- Slocum missing. lHowever, two new ,students,Q Eileen Hagen, who formerly attended school in Selby and, Ervin Bohlander joined the class to make al total of ten seniors. The class officers were: Ervin Bohlander, presidentg Blanche Larson, vice presidentg Alpha Anderson, secretary-treasurer. ,Mr. Decker was the class adviser.
