NexT came The Dad-DaughTer BanqueT wiTh The Theme Oh, My Pappaf' The dinner was indeed a special nighT Tor all The girls and Their daTes-Dad! During The week before ChrisTmas The club did an excellenT iob reaching Their goal of S500 Tor The Baldwin Park Home. February FanTasy was The Theme for The annual ValenTines dance held in The gym. The decoraTions were in TradiTional red and whiTe wiTh hearTs and cupids. During The year The Girls' League Council, The represenTaTive group of Tour girls- Trom each grade level, worked along wiTh The board and helped wiTh such Things as decoraTions and reTreshmenTs. The biggesT iob of The Council was The selecTion each monTh of The Girl of The MonTh. Nine girls received This honor and one was chosen as Girl of The Year.
