The title Stepping Stone was selected because these four years in our Academy is an important step on the way to college and future development. Now after five short decades, of ever moving forward our enrollment is 700, and the Stepping Stone has grown in proportion. It holds within its cover an abundance of warm memories, which over the years will be a constant reminder of the advan- tages Glendale Union Academy made available to us. May Glendale Union Academy continue to march on, growing stronger in preparing her youth to carry the King ' s message to all the world. ' ji rjmP AdaRuth Adams A Christian School refuses to call her students educated without introducing them to the source of all wisdom. The depatment of religion is the core of our curricula. The student body and staff of Glendale Union Academy wish to extend a heartfelt note of gratitude to the eighteen churches which make up the school constituency. For it is from these institutions that our students, as well as the necessary finances come to make our school possible. Promoters We appreciate the loyalty of the pastors, their co-workers and the entire membership of the churches all of whom labor untiringly to promote our program of Christian edu- cation. How have the years treated you? How have you treat- ed the years? Has the principle where the best is only good enough been inculcated into your life? Can you say that you have fought the good fight of faith, toiling the Christian walkway as God would have you? Memories have a way of drifting out of one ' s life. Principles become more firmly established as time goes on. Principles of love to man and to God and a desire to serve humanity should be the fruits of the years. This choice has been yours. What has been your choice? C. E. Watkins, Principal Mr. Watkins and his family. 12 If; t rJ . . ; J JV Milton McCulloch, Commerce: Accountant, Assistant Business Manager Our Faculty includes . . .
