CLASS PROPHECY Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the Glendale Class of 1986 Reunion which is being held at Blaschak Manor, home of Natalie Blaschak, the famous restaurant tycoon. Most of the class has already arrived, and we are waiting outside for the stragglers. We can see a car coming now. It's fashion designer Candace Peterson, who is wearing one of the luxurious gowns from her new collection, An Evening in T . From the other side of the car steps Miss Leeanne Davis, owner of the country's largest music conservatory. The next to arrive in her custom-built horsedrawn carriage is none other than Marianne Leyo, owner of her own pharmaceutical company, a division of Leyo's IGA. Now that all the class has arrived, we will step inside. Standing inside the door we see Rick Trent and Glenn McMasters of the Army Corps of Engineers, who recently worked with architect Robin Reitmyer to design the new Glendale Regional High School. Walking down the corridor leading to the main dining hall, we see some of the faculty of the new school: Coach Jim Orichosky and Coach Chris Henry, the new physical education coaches for the boys, and Barb Kashtock and Beth Ann Tiesi, physical education instructors for the girls. Not far from them we see Michelle Maddalena, head ofthe English Department. As we enter the dining hall, the first thing that catches our eye is the lovely eight course meal that was catered by our own Michele Barnett. Looking around, we see ring announcer Tom Ross talking to Dan Grimes, who just completed his book, The Life and Possible Death of Jim Morrison. Standing around the buffet table are health spa owners Sonalee Laird, Missy Ponist, and Jessica Storm. We exit the dining hall in a hurry because one of Marianne's horses hasjust run into the house and has wrecked the buffet table. Running through the hall, we bump into Chrysler's new Iacocca, Justin Krepps, who is talking to Van Halen's new lead singer, Bobby Lee Roth. Entering the library, we see Andy Mulhollen, winner of this year's Bass Master Classic, signing autographs. Next to him, taking memberships for the BAND ALUMNI club, are its president, Cindy Toner, and its vice-president, Michele Hornberger. Standing in line are Sue Gabrielson and Nancy Belgin, who own their own majorette studio in Cdalport. Speaking of Coalport, we see Mayor Jeff Hewitt addressing the members of city council: Kevin Swauger, Dan Sheposh, John Visnofsky, and Todd Lewis. New town cops, Robin Conaway and Deanne Kuhn, also stand nearby. Making our way into the den, we see NBC's two new proud Peacocks , John-John and Marcy, who have just signed Mark Keith and Sue Morrison to do a series called Irvona-Vice. The show will not air until the mini-series East and West, whose main characters will be Sue Turchick, Renee Zimmerman, Dave Rowles, Tammy Rickard, and John Wilson, has ended.

To our right are Christine Lloyd and Shawn Skebeck discussing a new article about the reunion for their magazine Rolling Stone. Even though many of our friends have made it big in Hollywood, none has been as successful as Valerie Cathcart. Being very thirsty, we leave the den and make our way to the soda bar, which is being tended by Michelle Matthews and Ronda Jenkins, managers of a large distributing company which is a branch of Pepsi-Cola. Leaving the bar, we begin to mingle in the living room where we stop to talk to Rob Glasgow and Denny Ammerman who are discussing plans to enlarge the Coalport Hospital. Hearing a better conversation, we walk over to where Andrew Baum and Paul Weaver are talking about ways to improve their art institute. Andrew wants more cartooning, and Paul wants to get McDonalds into it somehow. After that large glass of soda, we head for the restroom. On our way we bump into the legendary racing team of Mike Kitko and Gary Witherow. We finally reach the top of the stairs where we see Dale Youngkin, Hugh Kepple, and Janey Hamilton, that famous trio of music video directors. They tell us that they have just finished their greatest video ever, which will feature singers Dawn Wagner, Cindy Queen, George Thomas, and Paul Gregory. They also tell us that the restroom is occupied. Oh, well! Seeing old friend Tammy Dillon, we walk over to find that Tammy has done alright for herself by marrying George Michael of Wham. Smelling a delicious aroma, we walk over to End everyone fussing over Davie's Delights, a delicious new candy that has no calories, invented by Dave Cavaner. Coming over to try some of Dave's candy is Kriss Baum, the Vidal Sassoon of 2000 with her personal bodyguard, Steve Doughty. We find out that Kriss markets her products exclusively through Bobbi Jo Warren's national chain of beauty salons. Walking back into the dining hall, we see the Wall Street crowd helping to clean up the mess. Becky Cree, Candy Gates, and Theresa Kruis are cleaning up the broken dishes, while Bill McLaughlin, Joe Pier, Joe Termin, and Jim Sahm try to get Marianne's horse back outside, after veterinarian Barb Cusick gives it a sedative. In the undestroyed part of the hall, our hostess of the evening, Natalie, is talking to lumber tycoon Becky Hamilton about an estimate on rebuilding her dining hall. Making our last round of the evening, we step back into the library where we see Sue Gardner and April Sanders who have just opened their 50th daycare center on the east coast. And last, but certainly not least, we see the new principal of the Glendale Regional High School, Patty Callahan. Now that the lights have dimmed and the laughter has stopped, we must go our separate ways until we can get together another year and rekindle all of the old memories.
