CLASS HISTORY 1980-81 As we started our first year in high school, we were excited about moving up from the elementary school and just a little frightened of what was to come. It didnlt take us long to learn how to open our very own lockers and adjust to new class schedules. 1981-82 With one year of experience and a lot of new friends, we were confident as we started the eighth grade. 1982-83 Becoming Freshmen brought us many new choices and opportunities. It was our first chance to elect class officers: John Peacock, President, Patty Callahan, Vice-President, Marcy Peacock, Secretary, Becky Cree, Treasurerg Sonalee Laird, Representative-at-Large. Many of us joined the senior high clubs and activities that were now 'available to us. With the help of our class advisors, Mr. Michael Sciabica and Miss Darla Burket, we ordered our class sweatshirts and jerseys. We also enjoyed our class trip to I-Iarrisburg in the spring of the year. 1983-84 As Sophomores, we kept busy by ordering our class jackets and selling Easter candy. Our class advisors, Miss Clarisse Traveny and Mr. Jack Burmeister, gave us a lot of help and guidance with these projects. Our elected class leaders for the year were: Jim Orichosky, President, Michelle Matthews, Vice-President, Ronda Jenkins, Secretary, Sonalee Laird, Treasurer, Patty Callahan, Representative-at-Large. 1984-85 Our Junior year arrived with excitement! We were anxious to order our class rings and plan for the prom. Our class officers were: Jim Orichosky, President, Marcy Peacock, Vice-President, Patty Callahan, Secretary, Nancy Belgin, Treasurer, John Peacock, Representative-at-Large. Under the guidance of our class advisor, Mr. Robert Smith, we launched a Christmas candy campaign. 1985-86 Seniors at last!! Our last year at Glendale we elected Patty Callahan, President, John Peacock, Vice-President, Sonalee Laird, Secretary, Becky Cree, Treasurer, Dave Rowles, Representative- at-Large. We had a busy year as Mr. Richard Burmeister and Mrs. Kathleen Adams, our class advisors, helped us with our Christmas campaign, our magazine sale, planning for our class trip, and getting ready for graduation. We, the Class of 1986, want to thank all our friends, teachers, and parents for making our high school years both successful and memorable. Best wishes to all future graduates at G.H.S.
