CLASS PROPHECY Today, June 2 , 2029 , is the first day of our Caribbean Cruise. lt is really unbelievable how we could get all of the members of the graduating class of 1979 from Glendale High School together to commemerate our 50th anniversary . Through science , we now can live twenty years longer than people could when we were in high school. That is the reason we all have lived to the grand old age of 67. l ran into Tracy Plessinger , known to many as Upton , who has helped me set up this tour. Tracy is now a horticul - turist and is running for mayor of the now booming town of Fiske f pop. 10,0001 . As we were talking about my hometown, Nuclearport lCoalport as we knew itj, we noticed Jeffrey Lynn Laing fOtisJ jogging with his new wife of three days . Jeffrey and his pals Stanley Kimberly , Michael Peno , Ty Ryen , and Robert Spingola have all had tragic love lives. They have all repeatedly fallen in love with rich, elderly women who tend to pass away shortly after the honeymoon. As we pass through the elegant Viking Lounge , we spot Sue Matthews, Patty McClellan, Deb Miles, Tammy Irvine, and Peg Stanton. These are five millionaire jet Setters, beautiful and vivacious for their years. Look out girls! You could be the next five lucky spouses of Jeffrey and his pals. We continued on our way. There was every imaginable recreation on the deck. As we pass the small game area , we notice two people taking a pin ball machine apart . To prevent vandalism and to protect our vessel , Upton grabbed one of the thugs and l grabbed the other . As they turned in retaliation, we were taken aback. Lo and Behold ! lt was Bill Mulhollen and Harley Reitmyer. Bill and Harley went together in the mechanics business and now own their own nuclear mechanic repair shop. They were just trying to fix the machine . Next we pass the Universal Gytm. As we passed the opened door of the gyrn, we heard two people arguing and we looked in. We saw this huge hulk of a guy flexing his muscles. We also saw a man in a stretching device, equally as muscular, but much shorter. lt was our friends Ken l.aBorde and Terry Wills. Ken and Terry were arguing Qjust like in the good old daysj. On our way to the pool, we stop off at the ping- pong court . Here we see a close doubles match. Vernon Hocken- berry and Clark Cree verses Bonnie Feigh and Barb Simmers. Vernon and Clark were close friends in school but seemed to go their separate ways until a few years ago. Clark became a civil engineer, who had a client try to sue him . He needed a lawyer badly and was referred to one of the nations top lawyers, Vernon Hockenberry . Since this reuniting , they're once again very close . Bonnie Feigh, Barb, and Bonnie Hockenberry share an apartment in the outskirts of Genoa , Alaska . Barb takes care of the Wildlife Preservation Foundation , and Bon works in the slum sec - tion of Genoa . And our own Bonnie Hockenberry is the mayor of Genoa . She is Alaska's first woman mayor. Next we go the the shuffleboard area. There are fifteen men all fighting over four shuffleboard cue sticks. They are : Mike Alvin, Dave Baker, John Noonan, RickO'Shell, Terry Richards, Jeff Hockenberry, Brian Bollinger, Fred Warner, Bob Downs, Bob Simmons, Marvin Frye , Ed Potter, Ron Manges, Bob Campbell, and Don Skiver. Mike is now a three star general in the Marines. Dave Baker, John Noonan, Terry Richards, Jeff Hockenberry, and Don Skiver went into business together and all now share a successful life . Rich O' Shell became a well known sttmtman . He has demolished between two and three hundred vehicles of various kinds but has never been bodily injured . Brian Bollinger and Marvin Frye became gall bladder surgeons who were sued by their first patients , Bob Downs , Bob Sim- mons, and Bob Campbell. Ed Potter became a radio announcer and now has his own prime time talk show. Fred Warner and Ron Manges are lifeguards for the YWCA in Honolulu, Hawaii. At the tennis courts are Jamie Dick, Gene Baker, Todd Hamilton, and Bob Glass battling it out. At poolside We see all of the sun bathing beauties. Kate Sinclair, now a Greek chef, Sandy Cusick, top fashion model, Lisa Irwin , who is now flying high as one of the few 67 year old stewardesses . Deb Clarkson , a deep sea diver, Mary Ellen Baum , one of the first lady astronauts , Deb Twigg who works in a hospital coffee shop as a waitress , and Penny Chilcote who through marriage became queen of Mog-Mog. As we pass through the pool area, there is a game of water polo in progress. There, we see our friends Mary Palmer, Karen Fleming , Tawney Dotts, Alice Jeffries, Pam Jeffries, Tina Jenkins, and Marlene Collins on team one . On team two we see Dale Zakowsky, Dave McCoy, Terry Miles, Dan Troxell, Jim Turner, Tony Noel, and Dave Pin- ter . Mary Palmer is now married and has ten children , Karen Fleming is now a florist , Tawney Dotts, the manager of a famous disco palace , Alice Jeffries, a dermatologist, Pam Jeffries is the personal secretary to the President of the United States, Tina Jenkins is an undercover agent for the governnient, and Marlene Collins has struck it rich

in Uranium . Dale Zakowsky moved to the Midwest and is now president of a large corporate farm . Dave McCoy is a professional mountain climber, Terry Miles is an undercover narcotics agent for the Genoa Police Department, Dan Troxell is the famous lead guitarist for The New Black Velvet, jim Turner is vice-president of Rockwell In- ternational, Tony Noel is a Safari tour guide , and Dave Pinter now operates a space shuttle between Earth and the Moon. Beside the pool stands Doug McCartney, who works with the Coast Guard, sending messages to passing ships. Now we go to the refrigerated area that contains a ski slope . There we find the four skier gold medalists from the 1996 Olynipics. They are: Marge Skebeck, Kelly Murray, Dave Myers, and Eric Traveny. The four now own a ski resort in Genoa, Alaska . On our way to the basketball court we pass Tony Pyzowski. Tony is now a professional Grate Dane wrestler. On the basketball court we see jose' Delerme , Kevin Miles, Frank Tiesi, and Dan Garman shooting a few hoops. jose' is an animal psychologist who is now studying the social behavior of Polar bears in Genoa, Alaska- Kevin Miles is an aspiring actor . His latest project is the role of Kojak in the remaking of the old popular series . Dan Gar- man and Frank Tiesi are still trying for their degrees from the Dave Benjamin School of Mining. Later that evening there was a dinner dance . As we enter, we spot Ray Blake , Fred Gallaher , Pete jenkins, Barry Kruis, and Clinton Stewart. Ray Blake now designs weapons for the Pentagon, Fred Gallagher drives truck for the Genoa Uranium Company , Pete jenkins writes mystery novels for Mad magazines, Barry Kruis has become a diamond cutter, and Clinton Stewart is a top designer for the Ford Motor Company. At the center table we see Tina Hamilton, joann Mulhollen , Lisa Keith , Connie jones , Carol Fishel , Deb Warsek , Sandy Jenkins, and Brenda Brink. Tina owns a chain of restaurants. Joann is married to a wealthy businessman and spends their money on charitable organizations . Lisa has become a forest ranger . Connie is a cab driver in Nuclear- port . Carol has become a lady wrestler for the Genoa Giants. Deb has become a TV anchorvvoman. Sandy and Brenda write for a situation comedy. The dinner was great. The entertainment was provided by the famous stand up Comedienne , Deb Smith. Next came the dancing. The floor was crowded. There seemed to be something going on the the center of that crowd. We decided to see what it was. On our way we ran into many groups of friends . The first group we ran into was Paris Ball, Marcia Vasile , Brenda Williams, Lucinda Williams, Maureen McCusker, Sharon jasper, Bobi Snyder, Audrey Danforth, Deb Slovikosky, and Deb McGarvey. Maureen has become an esteemed writer. Sharon, Audrey, Bobi, and Deb McGarvey breed Arabian horses in Genoa , Alaska. Marcia and Brenda are the first women coaches of a professional football team. Deb and Lucinda are interior decorators. The second group was Rob Kitchen, Dave Black, and Mark Bennett. All three have become commercial airline pilots. Each one works for a different rivaling agency. The third group included: Deb Bennett, Deb Franks , Sue Rickard , Edith Simmons , Carol Welsh , Denise Szedenits , and Diamie Baum. Deb Bennett, Deb Franks, Sue , and Dianne have all formed a popular singing group. Edith be- came an L.P.N. Carol and Denise are both happily married to twins from a wealthy Bostonian family. The fourth and final group we ran into consisted of Kathy Reffner, Lisa Sinclair, and Debbi-jo Vesnesky. These three girls are owners of a Hollywood Glamor School. Kathy teaches poise and charm, Lisa teaches etiquette, spell- ing, and refinement, and D.j. teaches make-up and personal appearance classes. We finally got to the center of the massive group of people . Mfho was there but Laura Long and Greg Henry arguing over future business expansion. Laura and Greg became business partners after graduating from high school. How- ever that was not the source of excitement. The center of attraction was a balding gentleman in a tuxedo and an older woman wrestling in a govxm like two wild people . It was David Hegarty and Theresa Tiesi wrestling just like in high school. David became a nuclear physicist whose central lab is centered in Genoa, Alaska. Theresa IS a re- tired ballarina due to injury. She now choreographs for the Genoa Ballet. All in all, the Glendale graduated Class of 1979 was pretty successful. The class contributed very much to the economy of Genoa, Alaska. I'm the only person that hasn't been identified. I'm Frank Kruise , the only thriving undertaker from the Class of '79. See you in a few years!
