For some glory arrived in the form of grades of one on assignments, exams, and report cards. For others, glory was found in smaller achievements - finally learning the difference between a sentence and a sentence fragmentg seeing the insides of a frog without getting sickg typing 75 wpm with no errors. We complained about homework, about classwork, about exams, and about teachers who gave too much of all three, but we felt a sense of accomplishment when our efforts paid off in the class- room - whether the accomplishment was making a one for barely passinglj or just getting through the day with no deten- tions. In our own varied ways, we found glory in the classrooms of Glendale High School. C E

GLGRY DAYS v fl 9 V M 93 l if Q I In . chool. Despite our complaints about it and our frequent wishes that we could get away from it, all of us would probably admit that we often enjoyed being at Glendale High School and even missed it when we were away. Glendale High School was important to us because it was there that we found our friends and where we grew daily through the studies we pursued. Most likely, we would one day look back on our high school years and indeed see them as our Glory Days. And they were good, glorious days because in ways big and small, we found glory in all that we did. Of course, glory is always relative, but each of us achieved some degree of glory, one way or another, during our time at Glendale High School. Throughout our years we found glory in a variety of ways, we found glory in the classrooms, glory in our friendships, glory in representing GHS, and, above all, glory in being ourselves. Yes, our GHS years were our Glory Days. 'EQKFSMQ 'Vines been Q 9096 7'1'N' fiNSW'4'l9 16,1 -Ifaanfw Qffvwffff-JM emi Sjcmli 'iam inaaal f.J.,l.,f, A Q ,K INTRODUCTION 3 j69'7'7Q,. X
