N ational H onor Society Citizenship, Scholarship, Leadership, and Service form the basis on which members are chosen for the National Honor Society. Upon entering 19547 Gladys Hogg was the only student qualified for the honor. Later in the year, new N.H.S. members were inducted. Glendale was granted a charter in 1952, and the club has continued to be active. Becoming a mem- ber of the N.H.S. is the ambition of every new junior student. GLADYS HOCG MRS. Entering the new year with but one seasoned debator, the Glendale debate team has established a worthy rec- ord. Taking only fifth place in the Greater Cincinnati Speech League Tournaments, our debaters returned from the Middletown Tournaments with the trophy for first place in ttBS, Class schools. Their record at the time of publication was 25 wins and only 13 losses. As only one member is graduating, the debate team is awaiting the next school year with great anticipation.
