Raleigh ond Goldsboro 75 fm I Y 76 We have liv ed the PAST. . .We have trod the road closely b eh i nd our parents. The school they attended consisted of one main building, without the gymnasium, lunch- room, Home Ec. Department, and Agri- cultural Department wh i ch we now have. Their extra-curricular activities were lim- ited to a very few organizations and a minimum of sports. We are living the PRESENT. . .but soon the present will be past. The last twelve years have o f f e r e d us many opportunities and better facilities than were available to our parents. We must take advantage of these opportunities to ready o u rs e l v e s for the future. The FUTURE is still in our hands. . .It is up to us to shape our own lives with the knowl- edge we hav e achieved at Glendale High School. The future Glendale students, pos- sibly our children, will have even b ett er opporttmities and facilities at the new high school.
