I Board of Education Puts learning first Responsible for the education of thousands of students, the members of the Springfield Public Schools Board of Education work many hours to make the schools more efficient and a better place to learn. This year they approved the addition of a swimming pool to the school's assets. The pool is expected to be completed by May, 1969. It will be used by all the physical education depart- ments ofthe high schools. In charge of the facilities and policies for the public school students of Springfield, these people are elected by the residents of the city. The five men and one woman of the T968-69 School Board do the best job possible to fulfill the obligations that they have to the students and the people who elected them. The Board of Education's Administrative Service Center houses the offices of the school system's administrators. it' PTS it -man! ADMINISTRI J. Graff-Sl.
