MR. JOHN IRWIN Principal 53 If a principal can aid the students in realizing that they are individuals of great worth in the school and community, then he has accomplished a great dealf, states Mr. Irwin. This is the statement of a man who is always striving to discover how to achieve this goal. NA school will only be as great as the students at- tending it make it. Students may accomplish this goal, and in turn receive personal satisfaction, by both taking from the school and through contri- butions to it. By taking from the school I refer to knowledge gained and high grades received through individual effort. By contributions to your school I refer to student participation in the many activities offeredf' declares Mr. Christensen. To the seniors, Mr. Richardson says, May you use the fine attitudes and habits developed at GHS over the past years to achieve the goals which you desire. To the underclassmen, he says, I hope you will continue to develop the attitudes and habits which will be necessary to your growth throughout your lifetimef' Principals Control Campus Activities MR.
