H, f J L 'n:,f 1' xg Foreword In 1912 the main building of Glendale High School was built. It was the first high school in the Glendale district and it succeeded the one-room school in the back room of a small frame building. Since 1912 the GHS campus has grown to its present day proportions. During the past fifty years the voices of many different students and teachers have echoed through the halls of Glen- dale High. This summer, after fifty years of service, the old walls of the main building will be torn down. The face of the campus has been changed by the erection of new buildings. Glendale High students have come . . . and gone . . . taking with them the fruits of knowledge so carefully bestowed up- on them by the most worthy Glendale High School faculty. Each student who passes through the front door of Glen- dale High School into his future takes with him very special memories . . . memories the 1962 Cardinal staff has endeavored to capture in this edition of your yearbook. x np 'r , Wr- yw ec -.
