PURPOSEFUL LEADERSHIP MAKES GLENBROCK TOPS Administrators Serve Students' Needs SUPERINTENDENT Gornplexities of a growing school contin ually challenge the ingenuity and foresiahted ness of the leaders of Glenbrook. With the completion of the third phase of the present building program this year, thoughts have already been turned to what is best to do in handling the overflow of students expected in two to three years. Either the present building must be expanded to handle 5,000 to 6,000 or another site obtained so that a second high school may be constructed. lust recruiting some l5 to 20 teachers a year in order to keep pace with the growing student body is a great concern to Dr. Watson, who is always seeking to put the best teachers possible into Glenbrook. Mr. Bovinet assists Dr. Watson with faculty, administrative, and recruiting problemsg while Dr. Mills is in charge of all testing and the comprehensive guidance program serving GB students. Mr. Smith is responsible for business management including building personnel and procurement. These people Work hard for our outstanding school which the students and faculty con well look upon with pride and satisfaction. Without their re- lentless Work during the referendum last September 27, GB would not have received the necessary increase in revenue to keep it a top school. Running a growing school as large as GB is no easy job. Few people real- ize how much these people give of them- selves to do this responsible public service. With Mr. Kenneth Smith, who along with his managerial duties is also Secretary to the Board, are Mr. Clarence Gallagher, Sum- mer School Principal and overseer of stu- dent activitiesg and Mr. George Stanger, Principal of Adult Evening School and dis- ciplinarian, Mr. Gallagher and Mr. Stanger also teach math classes.
