The Sophomore Squad really showed their ability to play football in the last game of the year on to win their next six games and finish the season with a 6-l record. Glenbrook had o total of l7l points for the sea- son, while their opponents scored only l4 points. Opposing coaches considered the team a big and hard running squad. when they beat Zion-Benton's Junior Varsity Squad 45 to 7. The 1957 team was led by co-captains Greg Slet- teland and Orrin Rugen. lt is believed that these boys will have much to add to the 1958 Varsity Squad. FROSH. This hig lighted the successful season, which ended with an eig t-won, seven-lost record. Bill Frey was elected most valuable runner for the t rd time in four years. Jim Nash was elected next year's captain by his team-mates.
