O There's little need of recourse to document, monograph, or letter to write the history of Glen- bard. GIenbord's tradition, its peculiarities, its very education-ways are all exposed by the spot- light on Mr. Glenbard himself. He is ibid. and op. cit., in fact, bibliography and footnote complete! O Strange as it may seem, it would be im- possible to separate the story of GTHS from the biography of FLB: much of his life's hope and exemplary service has definitely set the Green and White colors of the school. Surely this fact alone is excellent testimony to the prestige of the man, the citizen, the educator. I The climate of Mr. Biester's personality is not defined in extremes. Gibraltar-like, his de- pendability is a source ot pleasure and confidence to those whom he serves. Never verbose, laconic in advice, sharp of wit, and keen in observation: these qualities are his to muster when necessity demands or occasion permits.
