N M 4 Joe Lewis, vice president John Sharp, president Lael Briske, secretary-treasurer We, the Class of Fifty-one looking back in years to come, may remember dances, plays, classes, clubs and ioyous days, track, and base- ball, football, too, ioys of Glenbard ringing true. AsKatrin remembered her home in I Remember Mama, we seniors will remember our four years at Glenbard. As freshmen and sophomores we started on along climb in club activities. Bill Drips, president, Don Harlan, vice presi- dent, and Margy Stone, secretary-treasurer, were the first year class officers. Sophomore class officers were George Albert, president, Joe Beier, vice president, and Pat Murphy, secretary-treasurer. The honor medal winner was Bill Drips. Our iunior year Student Council officers were capped by George Albert, president, Dick Pruess, vice president, Sue Morgan, secretary, and Bill Drips, treasurer. Our own class officers were Joe Lewis, president, George Albert, vice presi- dent, and Jean Frantes, secretary-treasurer. Pin- nacle positions, Masque and Gavel, Thespians, Kits and Skits ploy Dear Ruth, the junior play Mother is a Freshman, and plans for the senior prom kept us very busy. Dick Pruess won the honor medal. We launched our senior year with the first Homecoming. In spite of Old Pluvius and the Lions, that spoiled the parade of floats and the football game, the Homecoming furnished activ- ity for students and grads. Climaxing the day was the Homecoming dance with the presentation of the queen and court. Jane Karr, iunior, was crowned queen with Harriet Emery, Margy Stone, Joan Wulff, and Betty Ann Robertson, iunior, in the queen's court. Following the Homecoming was Thespians' Sweater Hop, the seniorplay l Remember Mama, the G. A. A. Formal, and the Hi-Y and Y-Teens' annual Heart Hop. With spring came the Washing- ton trip. As our final days in high school brought the prom, Baccalaureate, and graduation on June 5, we all were conscious of our future, many of us making plans for a college education or a career. We will ever loyal be, We will ever follow thee, Let the Banners bravely fly, Glenbard High! Glenbard High!
