GIRLS BASKETBALL The girls Basketball Team had a lot of ups and downs, although only a few players survived throughout the season. The girls played good games and were very disappointed about most of their losses because they were so close to winning. Lourdes Perez, a foreign exchange students, was an exceptionally good player along with Yvette Meneses who was an aggressive rebounder. 'i3ff't3 ' , , y ri Q VOLLEYBALL IRESERVE TEAMJ - The girls reserve team as usual came in the top 2 in the league. The reserves had a 5-l record only losing one game in league play to Covina. The scores in that game were 16-14, I5-13, 16-14, so you can see that the entire league championship was won by only 2 points. Congratulations for a well earned 2nd place. VOLLEYBALL J.V. - The J.V. Volleyball did not do quite as well as the Varsity or Reserve Team. But the team is a young one with the maiority ofthe girls being sophomores and freshmen. Wilson's league standing was 7th place out of 9, iust ahead of La Puente and South Hills.
